Volleyball Game Preview: West Panthers vs. Brighton Bengals

West is 0-3 against Brighton since March of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will challenge the Bengals at 6:30 p.m.

On Thursday, West came up short against Olympus and fell 3-1.

While West ultimately came up short, they really made Olympus work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-23, 25-27, 25-16.

West's defeat came about despite a quality game from Ethan Bigelow, who had 22 digs and two aces. Bigelow has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Meanwhile, Brighton beat Mountain Crest 2-0 on Friday.

West's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Brighton, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

West couldn't quite get it done against Brighton in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
