Baseball Recap: James F. Byrnes Takes a Loss

James F. Byrnes came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-4 to the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights.

James F. Byrnes saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Perez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Another was Jack Bailey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

James F. Byrnes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, James F. Byrnes will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodruff at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they are taking a road trip to face off against Riverside at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
