Baseball Recap: Baptist Prep Takes a Loss

Baptist Prep's last matchup with South Side could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 14-2 to the Hornet. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Baptist Prep saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Boyette, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Another was Aaron Fielder, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Baptist Prep's loss dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for South Side, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baptist Prep will venture away from home to challenge Bigelow at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Side, they will head out to face off against Robinson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
