Softball Recap: West Scranton Has No Trouble Against Scranton

West Scranton won the last time they faced Scranton and things went their way on Monday too. The Invaders were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Invaders.

Brianna Connor was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mia Keenan, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

West Scranton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .658. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.

West Scranton's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Scranton, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Looking ahead, West Scranton will take on Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
