Baseball Game Preview: Paloma Valley Wildcats vs. Poly Bears

For the second straight game, Paloma Valley will face off against Poly. The Wildcats will challenge the Bears at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Paloma Valley will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Paloma Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Poly on Tuesday as they made off with an 8-1 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

For Poly's part, Adrian Islas was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Islas also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Poly's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Paloma Valley, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
