Basketball Recap: Chief Leschi Comes Up Short

Chief Leschi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 75-18 loss at the hands of the Raymond/South Bend Ravens. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-6.

Raymond/South Bend's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kassie Koski, who went 8 for 17 on her way to 22 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Pine-Isaksen, who went 7 of 14 en route to 15 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

Chief Leschi's record is now 6-8. As for Raymond/South Bend, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Chief Leschi will take on Forks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Raymond/South Bend, they will challenge Ilwaco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
