Paraclete came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Taft, but Nick Andrade wouldn't allow it. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spirits on Thursday, sneaking past 50-48 thanks in part to Andrade, who posted 18 points and six boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Taft's points.

Taft's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Paraclete, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Taft wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-13 loss against Stockdale on the 12th. Paraclete and Burroughs will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
