Volleyball Recap: Bath Wildcats vs. Spencerville Bearcats

It was a proper cat-fight when Bath duked it out with Spencerville on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Bearcats. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2016.

While Bath had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Mia Reindel and Taylor Conrad, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Zoie Bayliff and her ten assists. Hunter Neff controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bath has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Spencerville, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
