Recap: UIC College Prep Firecats vs. Baker Bobcats
The UIC College Prep Firecats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 77-27 win over Baker. UIC College Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 28 points or more this season.
UIC College Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adam Matthews led the charge by scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Matthews has scored all season. Andre Boone was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
UIC College Prep is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Baker, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
