Soccer Recap: Hanks Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Hanks was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the Keller Central Chargers. While losing is never fun, Hanks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 377th, while Keller Central are ranked 108th).

Hanks' goal came courtesy of Sebastian Morales Manzur, who's now up to 13 this season.

Hanks now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Keller Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

Hanks has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Burges on the 13th. As for Keller Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Trinity on the 13th.
