Baseball Recap: Coosa Valley Academy Has No Trouble Against Cornerstone Christian

While Coosa Valley Academy put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Cornerstone Christian. The Rebels put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 18-0 win. That looming 18-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rebels yet this season.

Jake McArthur was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. He also brought in three RBI, which is notable because Coosa Valley Academy is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 8-15 otherwise.
