Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

The Central Rockets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 56-13 to the Keys Gate Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Keys Gate to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniella Pujadas, who posted 12 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Essence Deleon, who put up eight points along with six boards and six steals.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Keys Gate, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-12.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-14 defeat against Killian on the 28th. Keys Gate has also already played their next match, a 50-37 loss against Mater Academy Charter on the 28th.
