New London won the last time they faced Lucas and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Cubs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant New London was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-12.

Gracie Thomas paced New London's offense, picking up 12 kills. Thomas got some help from Harper Clemons and her 18 assists. Thomas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

New London now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lucas, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

New London has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Plymouth on the 26th. As for Lucas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Central Christian on the 26th.
