Baseball Game Preview: Loyola Academy Ramblers vs. St. Rita Mustangs

For the second straight game, Loyola Academy will face off against St. Rita. The Ramblers will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Loyola Academy has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Loyola Academy came up short against St. Rita and fell 14-9. The Ramblers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

For St. Rita's part, Christian Clark was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave Clark a new career-high. Colin Quinn was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

St. Rita was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They are 6-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Loyola Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for St. Rita, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-16.
