Volleyball Recap: Chinle Wildcats vs. Round Valley Elks
Chinle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Round Valley Elks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2016.
Chinle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Round Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Chinle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory vs. St. Johns on the 21st. Round Valley has also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Safford on the 20th.
