Basketball Recap: Cade Mcneill Key Part of a Team Effort in Crusaders Win

Northside Christian Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 32) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Ben Lippen Falcons 73-71. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted since December 20, 2024.

Northside Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cade McNeill, who went 5 for 10 en route to 14 points and six boards. Luke Bohnsack was another key player, going 5 of 6 on his way to 14 points.

Northside Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

As for Ben Lippen, they will take on Augusta Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Augusta Christian will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something Ben Lippen surely won't give up without a fight.
