While Northern Nash's victory against Rocky Mount wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Gryphons 8-6. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Gryphons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Landon Keefe was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Edgerton, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Northern Nash now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Rocky Mount, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Northern Nash will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Gryphons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
