Basketball Recap: Tuttle Takes a Loss

Tuttle was the 52-48 winner over Bishop McGuinness when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Fighting Irish by a score of 51-49 on Saturday.

Bishop McGuinness' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but AceLynn Tucker led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Tucker a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (33%). Another player making a difference was Kashlynn Cooper, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Tuttle now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bishop McGuinness, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Tuttle will take on Kingfisher in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop McGuinness, they will be home for the holidays to greet Altus at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
