Baseball Recap: Clover Comes Up Short

Clover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Blue Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Clover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clover will take on Hanahan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they will take on Lugoff-Elgin in a tournament on Saturday.
