Volleyball Recap: Harmony Beats East River for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Harmony came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the East River Falcons. The Longhorns not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.

Sylus Cory paced Harmony's offense, picking up 17 kills. Cory got some help from Jameson Benken and his 24 assists. Benken was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Harmony pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for East River, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Harmony will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East River, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Innovation at 6:30 p.m.
