Basketball Recap: Pennsauken Comes Up Short

Pennsauken was the 51-46 winner over Holy Cross when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pennsauken Indians fell 56-49 to the Holy Cross Lancers on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pennsauken's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Holy Cross, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Pennsauken and Holy Cross should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. Pennsauken will face off against Northern Burlington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday up 167 places (102 vs. 269). Similarly, Holy Cross (ranked 50th) will meet Egg Harbor Township (ranked 150th) at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
