Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Comes Up Short

If Tri-Valley was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Greenleaf Friends Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans came up short against the Salmon River Savages on Friday, falling 3-0. The Titans have struggled against the Savages recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Tri-Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Salmon River work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 25-10.

Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Salmon River, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tri-Valley will square off against rival Horseshoe Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Salmon River is set to take on their familiar foe Greenleaf Friends Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
