            Softball Recap: Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings vs. Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers        
        
		
        
        
            Bradley-Bourbonnais hit Homewood-Flossmoor with a eight-run fourth inning  on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost  13-2 to the Boilermakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Boilermakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  12-2  two weeks ago.
 Homewood-Flossmoor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Skylar Skinner, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
Homewood-Flossmoor has also been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record  this season. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their record is now 15-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homewood-Flossmoor will welcome Providence Catholic  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, they will host Stagg  at 4:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Chargers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.81  runs per game on average), something the Boilermakers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
