Davenport is a perfect 4-0 against Newport since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Gorillas will look to defend their home court against the Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Davenport heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Freeman, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Newport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.

Newport now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Davenport, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5-1.

Davenport took their win against Newport when the teams last played back in October by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Gorillas have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
