Softball Recap: Monroe Falls Short of Animo De La Hoya in the Playoffs

Monroe and Animo De La Hoya squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Monroe had to settle for second. They came up short against the Boxers, falling 16-4.

Monroe has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Animo De La Hoya, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Animo De La Hoya, they will challenge Los Angeles CES at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
