Soccer Recap: Hylton Comes Up Short

Hylton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Forest Park Bruins, falling 6-1. Hylton were not able to make up for their loss to Forest Park from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Hylton's goal came courtesy of Kelly Oliveira, which was the first she's scored this season.

Hylton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Forest Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Hylton and Forest Park will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bulldogs see the pitch they'll take on Charles J. Colgan at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Forest Park, their break will end when they face Woodbridge at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
