Basketball Recap: St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Takes a Loss

If St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse was feeling good fresh off their 82-53 takedown of Tekoa-Rosalia last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse came up short against the Pomeroy Pirates on Tuesday, falling 67-46. The loss continues a trend for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse in their matchups with Pomeroy: they've now lost nine in a row.

Kyzer Herres had a dynamite game for Pomeroy, going 8 of 16 en route to 25 points. Those 25 points gave Herres a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jett Slusser, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Pomeroy, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pomeroy, they will challenge Colton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
