Football Recap: New Lisbon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 42-6 defeat at the hands of the Brookwood Falcons. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Grady Barfknecht threw for 145 yards and one TD. Rowyn Sloan was his top target, picking up 71 receiving yards and one touchdown.

New Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Brookwood, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3.

Coming up, New Lisbon will square off against Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookwood, they will challenge Cashton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
