Softball Recap: White County Comes Up Short

White County was the 13-9 winner over Livingston Academy when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 6-2 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mabry Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits.

On the hitting side, Kylie Norvell was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

White County's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Livingston Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, White County will challenge Upperman at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Livingston Academy, they will take on Macon County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
