Football Recap: Thornton Takes a Loss

Thornton played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Crete-Monee Warriors 49-6. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.

Thornton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Crete-Monee, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Thornton will challenge rival Rich Township at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crete-Monee is set to face off against their familiar foe Thornwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
