There's no place like home for Hazen, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cedarcrest Red Wolves on Thursday. The Highlanders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 14, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Arisa May paced Hazen's offense, picking up 19 kills. May got some help from Noelani Kaiwi and her 28 assists. Kaiwi was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hazen's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Cedarcrest, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Hazen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Redmond on the 25th. As for Cedarcrest, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Glacier Peak on the 20th.
