Volleyball Recap: Leading Edge Academy - GEC Takes a Loss

Leading Edge Academy - GEC was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Parker Broncs.

While Leading Edge Academy - GEC ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-20.

Adam Saadallah paced Leading Edge Academy - GEC's offense, picking up seven kills. Saadallah got some help from Evan Bouman and his four assists. Saadallah was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

SANTIAGO OSOBOMPO was a one-man wrecking crew For Parker. as he had 16 digs and six aces. OSOBOMPO is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games he's played. MATEO BECCHI also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Parker, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against San Tan Charter on the 10th. As for Parker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Benjamin Franklin on the 11th.
