Football Recap: Chatfield Chargers vs. Columbine Rebels
Chatfield's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a hard 24-7 fall against the Columbine Rebels. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Chatfield lost, don't look at Cash Williams. Despite the final result, he rushed for 64 yards and one score, and also threw for 188 yards on 15 of 31 attempts.
Mark Snyder produced another solid performance rushing for 253 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry for Columbine. Snyder really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
