Softball Recap: McClintock Comes Up Short

The McClintock Chargers came up short against the Chaparral Firebirds on Thursday, falling 9-2. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McClintock saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arieana Sepulveda, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Aubrey Ayon also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

McClintock's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Chaparral, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

McClintock will take on Alhambra at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Chaparral, they will challenge Arizona College Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
