Baseball Recap: Cardinal Takes a Loss

Cardinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Bristol Panthers. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cardinal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Bristol, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Cardinal will square off against Conneaut at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Bristol, they will welcome St. John at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
