 Silas is 9-1 against Mount Tahoma since May of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Silas Rams will head out on the road to  take on  the Mount Tahoma T-Birds at 4:00  p.m. Silas knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Mount Tahoma likes a good challenge.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Silas gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They put the hurt on Lincoln with a sharp  16-6 win. That's two games straight that Silas has won by  exactly ten  runs.
  Natalie Medalia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Medalia has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Medalia was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Desi Bass, who  fired off two  home runs, six  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Joleen Libhart, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Mount Tahoma fell victim to Bonney Lake and their airtight pitching crew  on Monday. They lost  25-0 to the Panthers. The  contest marked the first time this season in which Mount Tahoma was not able to get on the board.
 Silas pushed their record up to 8-6 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Mount Tahoma, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Mount Tahoma's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Silas has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .509. It's a different story for Mount Tahoma, though, as  they've  only  averaged .134. Will they be able to contain Silas' hitters?
 Silas took their  win against Mount Tahoma  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023 by a conclusive  22-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Silas since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
