Basketball Recap: Notre Dame (SO) Find Success

Notre Dame (SO) had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out St. Joseph 66-64. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Notre Dame (SO).

Notre Dame (SO) found their leader in sophomore NaVorro Bowman, who shot 50% from the field en route to 23 points. What's more, Bowman also posted an 80% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Angelino Mark, who posted 14 points.

Despite the loss, St. Joseph still got an impressive performance from Tounde Yessoufou, who dropped a double-double with 38 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 59.4% of St. Joseph's points, marking the fourth time in a row Yessoufou has earned more than a third of the team's points. Julius Price was another key player, putting up 14 points and six boards.
