Basketball Recap: Deshler Triumphs

Deshler's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 47-37 win over the Kenesaw Blue Devils. This was a revenge game for the Dragons: when they faced off against the Blue Devils last Thursday, they had to take a 33-32 defeat.

Kenesaw lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Bentley Olson, who posted nine points. What's more, Olson also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Avery Kelley, who had 12 points and three steals.

The victory got Deshler back to even at 9-9. As for Kenesaw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
