            It's playoff time, and Capistrano Valley Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against Valley View by a score of  3-1  on Wednesday. The  victory was nothing new for Capistrano Valley Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Capistrano Valley Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-22,  25-11.

 Joy Carney had an outrageously good game as she  had 27  digs and two  aces. She has been hot for a while, having  posted 14 or more  digs the last 11 times she's  played.
 Carney wasn't the only good servers: Capistrano Valley Christian  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in four consecutive  matchups.
Capistrano Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-20-1. As for Valley View, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-13.
 Looking ahead, Capistrano Valley Christian will challenge Wiseburn- Da Vinci at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
