Volleyball Game Preview: Ann Sobrato Bulldogs vs. Prospect Panthers

The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs will square off against the Prospect Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ann Sobrato will be strutting in after a win while Prospect will be coming in after a loss.

Ann Sobrato not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23, 2024. Everything went their way against Silver Creek as Ann Sobrato made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ann Sobrato was: they took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Prospect suffered their biggest defeat since May 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Santa Teresa, falling 3-0.

Prospect took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-23.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Ann Sobrato, the victory also got them back to even at 4-4.
