Basketball Recap: Valley Center Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Valley Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Mount Miguel Matadors and fell 68-24. The contest marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Joel Hererra was Valley Center's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Trent English held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Pierce Hall took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Valley Center's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mount Miguel, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Valley Center will host Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Miguel, they will be taking part in a tournament against Canyon Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
