Baseball Recap: Mount Everett Regional Takes a Loss

Mount Everett Regional was the 16-1 winner over Lenox Memorial when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 5-2 to the Millionaires on Thursday.

Mount Everett Regional saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brodie Kinna, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Trevor Leonard also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Mount Everett Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Lenox Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mount Everett Regional and Lenox Memorial will both be playing Drury the next time they take the field. The Millionaires will head out to face the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
