Volleyball Recap: Jonesville Comes Up Short

Jonesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jackson Vikings.

Morgan Wood paced Jonesville's offense, picking up eight kills. Wood got some help from Olivia Babcock and her 11 assists. Sadie Broesamle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Jonesville now has a losing record of 13-14-1. As for Jackson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

Jonesville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Hillsdale on the 11th. As for Jackson, they will be playing at home against Ypsilanti at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
