Baseball Recap: Penn-Trafford Warriors vs. Trinity Hillers
Penn-Trafford was the 8-6 winner over Trinity when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Hillers by a score of 5-4 on Monday.
Ethan Septak made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Matrisch, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Penn-Trafford dropped their record down to 6-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Trinity, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
