Football Recap: Baldwin Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Baldwin had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars and fell 69-6. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Tyler Eber was a one-man wrecking crew For Thomas Jefferson. as he rushed for 123 yards and four TDs on only ten carries. Eber's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 14th straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season. Jayden Hrebik got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Baldwin has already played their next matchup, a 48-14 loss against Fox Chapel on the 29th. As for Thomas Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 37-14 win against Central Valley on the 29th.
