Softball Recap: Clovis Cougars vs. Clovis North Broncos
Clovis had lost 13 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 3-21 to make it 14. They came up short against the Clovis North Broncos, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-3 back in April.
As for Clovis North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games.
