Fulton came tearing into Monday's match with 16 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Montabella Mustangs as they made off with a 16-6 win. That's two games straight that the Pirates have won by exactly ten runs.

The team relied heavily on Bryson Sattler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Parker Billings was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Fulton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .522. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in nine consecutive contests.

Fulton's victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Montabella, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
