Volleyball Recap: Hiland Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hiland can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Shenandoah Zeps on Wednesday. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

While Hiland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-9.

Hiland's defeat dropped their record down to 23-2. As for Shenandoah, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Hiland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shenandoah, after both having extra time off, they and Newark Catholic will shake off the rust and duke it out at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
