Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dayton on Tuesday, Columbia came back down to earth. The Coyotes fell 9-6 to the Warden Cougars on Thursday. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Warden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Warden beat Columbia by a score of 10-7 later that day.
