Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manzanola). They enjoyed a cozy 57-41 victory over the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers on Friday. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 58-55 loss the last time these two teams met.

Manzanola got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zane Lange out in front who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave Lange a new career-high in assists (three). Another player making a difference was Mark Holland, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Manzanola and bumps their season record up to 5-16. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-18.

Manzanola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-20 loss against Pikes Peak Christian on the 1st.
